Linda RoseLinda has spent 35 years in the media industry and has an extensive background in both journalism and public relations.
Her 15 years in broadcast journalism included news journalism, current affairs programme production and presenting, culminating in two years co-anchoring the New Zealand equivalent of Radio 4’s Today programme.
After arriving in the UK in 1996, Linda joined the London bureau of an American broadcast PR company where she worked as a broadcast consultant establishing its healthcare arm. Two years later, Linda joined healthcare communications consultancy, the Shire Health Group (now part of Ogilvy Healthworld) where she became Director of Media Services working on media strategy for a range of blue chip pharmaceutical brands both in the UK and globally.
Since 2005, Linda has been an independent media consultant and media trainer, training primary and secondary healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical industry spokespeople on an international basis. She has also chaired journalist advisory boards and expert forums and has provided media training for not-for-profit organisations including MIND, Stroke Association, Alzheimer's Research UK, Target Ovarian Cancer and the National Institute for Health Research Clinical Research Network.
Linda’s communications qualifications include post-graduate diplomas in both journalism and public relations and she is a member of the Healthcare Communications Association. |
